ADMIN USERS ONLY: Step-by-step guide on how to create a new user in Scientrix. This guide is for a login with username and password. Should your company have Single-Sign-On enabled, then the steps in Scientrix are the same, BUT in addition, the user must be added to your company's Active Directory/ Entra-ID Scientrix Group.
Follow the steps below:
1. In your Scientrix Landing Page click on your Avatar at the top right
2. From the drop-down menu click on "Admin"
3. Click on "Manage Users"
4. Click "Add new"
5. Input the required content:
• Username: (please always use the full email address of the new user)
• Password: (must have at least 6 characters: 1 number, 1 letter, 1 special sign)
• License: (click into the license field and then click on 2050-01-01)
6. For "Has Employee" tick the "Yes. I need a new one" field.
7. Then scroll down and complete the required fields;
• Code: (input the employee number of the new user or just a sequential number)
• First name
• Last name
• Job title
• Email address (must be the same as the user name above)
• Phone number (optional)
Then click on "Save"
8. To upload an avatar image, click on the "image" icon
9. Click on "Select new image" and select image from your computer
10. Once the image appears click "ok"
11. Then click "Save" again to add the image to your user
12. Finally click "Cancel" to go back to the user list
13. You will see the new user Jane Doe is now available in the user list at the end.
14. Please note that after creating the new user (Jane Doe), she needs to be added to the Scientrix artifacts (e.g., Grids, Elements, Initiatives, Metrics, etc.) to be able to see or edit anything.
