We show 2 ways of creating a new Grid in Scientrix. One way that can be done by ALL users and one way that is only available for ADMIN users.
1. To create a new Grid, we go to the left menu down to the last Grid Group that is called username's Group (as my username is mm we can see mm's Group.) Then we click on the 3-dot (...) action icon.
2. Then we click on "Add new Grid"
3. Then in the pop-up modal we input the Grid name, the Default Element Type for the elements in the Grid, to which Grid Group this Grid must be added, the name of the Grid owner (Responsible) and a brief Grid description.
4. Then we click on the "Display" tab
5. We again complete the required fields, like number of rows and columns for the grid, whether the elements in the grid will be ful or partially colored, the default shape of the elements and the grid icon for this grid. Then we click on "Save"
6. We can see the success message
7. And then on the left menu when we expand our personal Grid Group (in this case mm's Group) we can see the new grid appearing. Then we click on it.
8. And we will see the new Demo-Grid-1.
To see the 2nd possibility of creating a new Grid (for ADMIN users only) we click on our avatar at the top right.
9. Then we click on "Admin"
10. Then in the section Grid-Group-Admin we click on "Manage Grids"
11. We can now see the list of ALL existing Grids in the Scientrix system.
To create a new Grid from here, we click on "Add new"
12. We input the Grid name and description and click "Save"
13. We see the success message that the Grid was created.
Then we click on the logo to get back to the Home page
14. As we can see the Demo-Grid-2 is now also available
