In this tutorial, we will introduce you to the new "Grid Zoom" feature in Scientrix, which allows you to adjust your view of a grid using different zoom options. Whether you want to see your grid in its actual size or fit it to your screen or specific width, this feature gives you control over how you view your data.

 

Overview

The Grid Zoom feature in Scientrix provides you with three zoom options:

  1. Actual Size: This option displays the grid exactly as you know it, without any adjustments.
  2. Fit to Width: This setting automatically adjusts the screen to show everything within the parameters of the number of columns you've set. This is particularly useful when you want to ensure all columns are visible without horizontal scrolling.
  3. Fit to Screen: Fit to Screen includes everything within the parameters of the number of columns and rows you've defined, optimizing your view for comprehensive grid exploration.

Step 1: Access the Grid Zoom Feature

  1. Log in to your Scientrix account and navigate to the grid you want to explore.
  2. Once inside the grid, look for the top grey navigation bar.

  1. In the top grey navigation bar, you will see the "Grid Zoom" options.

Step 2: Choose Your Zoom Option

  1. Click on "Grid Zoom" to reveal the available options: "Actual Size," "Fit to Width," and "Fit to Screen."

  1. Select the zoom option that best suits your needs.

    • Actual Size: This will display the grid exactly as it is, without any adjustments.
    • Fit to Width: It will adjust the screen to fit within the number of columns you've set.
    • Fit to Screen: This option includes everything within the parameters of both columns and rows, providing a complete view of the grid.

Step 3: Enjoy Your Grid with the Preferred Zoom Setting

Once you've made your selection, your grid will adjust accordingly. You can now explore your grid with the chosen zoom level, making it easier to focus on the specific details that matter most to you.
