Creating Portfolio Graphics in Scientrix
1. Access the Grid:
- Build a new grid or select an existing one.
- In the blue left navigation, find the option called Portfolio Graphics.
2. Understanding Portfolio Graphics:
- Portfolio Graphics are based on the BCG Matrix concept.
- It organizes grid elements using two assessment criteria on the x and y axes.
3. Selecting Assessment Criteria:
- Click on Portfolio Graphics in the blue navigation bar.
- Click on Add New in the top right of the page.
4. Configuring Graphic:
- Give your graphic a name.
- Select assessment criteria for the x-axis (up to 5 criteria, with the first 5 displayed).
- Click the drop-down to choose or unselect criteria.
- Choose assessment criteria for the y-axis (no limit).
- Click Add.
5. Managing Graphics:
- The new graphic appears in the list.
- To edit, click the "..." action button.
- Here, you can edit or remove the graphic.
6. Viewing Element Distribution:
- Elements are now distributed in quadrants based on selected criteria.
- Two views are available:
- Data View: Shows element distribution.
- Definition View (Top Right): Add heading, description, or color to quadrants.

In the definition view, you can add a heading to each quadrant, add a description, and/or change the background color.
7. Switching Views:
- Switch between Data View and Definition View as needed.
8. Unselecting Criteria Options:
- To unselect a criteria option, click on the round action button:
- On the top of the x-axis.
- To the bottom right of the y-axis.
